Celebrate the Autumnal Equinox with writer Rebecca Caldwell and photographer Susan Patrice on an evening walk through the Arboretum forest – to remind us why we love where we live. Exploring the poetry of place and drawing on wisdom traditions and contemplative practice, the instructors will encourage opportunities to connect in nature and reflect on the signs of change. All levels of experience and phone or photographic equipment are welcome.
Rebecca Caldwell is a writer and educator who serves as the Adult Education Programs Manager at The North Carolina Arboretum. She has taught literature and writing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Clemson University and Western Carolina University.
