Winter Lights & Night Photography

ONSITE | Three Sessions: 

Workshop and Shooting Practice: Thursday, November 17, 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Review of Work: Saturday, November 19, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Course Capacity: 8

Night time and low-light photography form the foundation of this course. Students will develop their skills in painting with light and photographing moonlight, fireworks and street scenes at night. The evening session will be a chance to photograph the Arboretum’s Winter Lights event. A discussion and review of work is a highlight of the follow up meeting. All levels of experience welcome.

 

Rick Daley is a professional photographer with interest in creative vision through photography. He has taught numerous workshops at the Arboretum, the John C. Campbell Folk Art School and at other institutions and been in many national shows.

Registration and Participation in In-Person Classes through the Arboretum:

  • Registration for this class will close two days before the class start date.
