Maker Monday: Felted Beads and Balls for Garlands and Gifts

Fiber Artist Rose Szabo brings both her know-how and a playful approach to this afternoon for makers. Learn the basics of wet felting and adding embellishments and create beads and balls to give as distinctive gifts or make into pom pom garlands and other decorations to grace your holiday tree or mantle. All Maker Monday materials are includes as are holiday treats to snack on while you create!

Rose Szabo has enjoyed the many aspects of felting for the past 13 years. From simple wet felted beads to complex nuno felted garments, she enjoys experimenting with new techniques and has won awards for her distinctive creations. Rose has a passion for felting and loves sharing it with others.

Registration and Participation in In-Person Classes through the Arboretum:
