Trees take on a whole new dimension in winter with the usual methods of identification less obvious. This class counts as a core requirement for the BRN Certificate of Merit when taken with the two-hour online lecture.

Carlton Burke is a naturalist and educator who operates Carolina Mountain Naturalists, an educational service that offers wildlife and nature educational programs throughout Western North Carolina. He also was on the staff of the WNC Nature Center in Asheville for over 25 years as the Curator of Exhibits.
